From enquiry to WhatsApp: a lead pipeline that actually gets answered

A beautiful site with a form that emails a shared inbox is a leak. In the Gulf and Egypt the buyer is on WhatsApp, the sales team is on WhatsApp, and the form sits between them like a fax machine. We close that gap on every build.

The pipeline

  1. The form submits to an edge function, not a mailbox. It validates, scores the enquiry (budget, timeline, unit type) and stores it.
  2. Within seconds the assigned person gets a WhatsApp message with the lead's name, what they asked for and a one-tap reply link.
  3. The same record lands in a simple pipeline view: new, contacted, qualified, closed. No CRM licence required to start; export to one when the team grows.
  4. The visitor gets a confirmation that sets an expectation: "Basel will reply within the hour." Then we keep it.

Why it converts

Speed. The first agent to respond usually wins the conversation, and a reply inside five minutes is not a nicety, it is the difference between a viewing and silence.

What to avoid

  • Floating chat widgets from third parties. They are slow, look identical on every site and leak your leads to someone else's database.
  • Ten-field forms. Ask for the three things you need to call back, and ask the rest on the call.
  • Sending every lead to everyone. Route by project or unit type so each message has an owner.

This is the same system behind BKI's own enquiries, and it is included in every launch site we build.
